Sage
Overview / Role
The Sage is a magical utility class that supports allies through elemental endows, debuffs, and unique spell-control skills. Less raw damage than a Wizard, but unmatched in versatility.
Requirements
- Base Level: None
- Job Level: 40 (minimum) as Mage
- Prerequisite: Mage; complete the Sage job change quest at the Schweicherbil Magic Academy in Juno.
Advancement Path
At Base Level 99 / Job Level 50, advances via Rebirth to Scholar (Professor).
Job Level Cap: 50
Key Skills
- Endow Tornado / Quake / Blaze / Tsunami: Imbue weapons with Wind/Earth/Fire/Water.
- Free Cast: Move and attack while casting.
- Auto Spell: Random chance to cast a Bolt skill on physical attack.
- Magnetic Earth: Disable magic in an area (anti-Wizard tool).
- Dispell: Remove all buffs from a target.
Recommended Playstyle
Battle Sage builds use Auto Spell + Bolt damage with melee weapons. Support Sages focus on Endow services for parties and WoE utility (Magnetic Earth, Dispell). Hybrid INT/DEX is standard.
