High Wizard

Overview / Role​

The High Wizard is the Transcendent form of the Wizard. Boosted SP, new utility, and devastating area spells make the High Wizard the deadliest mage in Pre-Renewal.

Requirements​

  • Base Level: 1 (after Rebirth) -> 99 cap
  • Job Level: 40+ as High Mage
  • Prerequisite: Rebirth from Wizard.

Advancement Path​

Final Transcendent class. Job Level Cap: 70.

Key Skills​

  • Ganbantein: Removes any ground-based skill (Safety Wall, Pneuma, Land Protector).
  • Gravitation Field: Massive AoE damage anchored on a point.
  • Soul Drain: Restore SP on monster kill.
  • Mystical Amplification: Boost next spell's damage by 50%.
  • Napalm Vulcan: Single-target neutral damage with curse chance.

Storm Gust + Mystical Amplification one-shots are core. Use Ganbantein in WoE to break Wall of Fog and Land Protector. Soul Drain enables nonstop spellcasting in MVP fights.
