Scholar (Professor)

Overview / Role​

The Scholar (also known as Professor) is the Transcendent form of the Sage. A WoE staple with unmatched anti-magic utility through Land Protector, Spell Breaker, and Wall of Fog.

Requirements​

  • Base Level: 1 (after Rebirth) -> 99 cap
  • Job Level: 40+ as High Mage
  • Prerequisite: Rebirth from Sage.

Advancement Path​

Final Transcendent class. Job Level Cap: 70.

Key Skills​

  • Mind Breaker: Boost target's MATK at the cost of DEF.
  • Spell Breaker: Cancel a target's spell cast.
  • Memorize: Halve cast time for the next two spells.
  • Wall of Fog: AoE accuracy and damage reduction zone.
  • Land Protector: Disables ground-target spells in an area.

Pure support Scholars dominate WoE; Battle Scholars use Auto Spell + Bolts. INT/DEX/VIT is the core stat distribution. Carry Yggdrasil Berries and SP items.
