Walkthrough

Board the International Route Airship connecting Izlude, Rachel, and Juno (use Kafra warp or airport boarding).

Talk to Captain Tarlock and ask "How does the airship fly?" Pester him again, and answer affirmatively when he asks if you really want to know. He'll request your assistance, mentioning his brother Ferlock (also an Airship Captain) and ask you to deliver a letter. You receive Tarlock's Letter.

Board the Domestic Route Airship (Juno to Lighthalzen to Einbroch to Hugel). Find Captain Ferlock at (airplane 236, 163). Deliver Tarlock's letter. Ferlock reveals his brother borrowed items and lost them, showing "The one who brought you the letter will find it for me."

Return to the International Route Airship. Wait on deck for an announcement regarding monsters. After the announcement, kill monsters quickly - Captain Tarlock will eliminate half of them (which drop nothing). You have 4 minutes before remaining monsters disappear.
- Alternative: Obtain items from Rachel Sanctuary dungeons after completing the Rachel Sanctuary Quest.

Return to the Domestic Route Airship with collected items. Give them to Ferlock, who provides Captain's Reply.

Return to International Route Airship. Give the letter to Tarlock and let him finish reading. He reveals the airship's secrets.
