Medicine Quest

Help an elderly man in Hugel through a medical emergency.

Starting NPC​

  • NPC: Allen Schuwell
  • Location: Hugel, second floor of a house (hu_in01 387, 245)
  • Directions: Take the left path after exiting the airship, then cross the bridge ahead.

Walkthrough​

  1. Speak with Allen Schuwell in Hugel; he requests medicine for his ailments and asks you to find his son.

  2. Locate Postell Schuwell south of Hugel (hu_fild06 34, 123, west portal). Inform him his father needs him; he agrees but asks you to watch over his father.

  3. Return to Allen. He will request a White Potion. Provide it and remain nearby until Postell returns.

  4. Allen mentions another attack and requests you find his medicine drawer.

  5. Step on the tile left of the drawer containing an axe and pick (hu_in01 372, 254).

  6. Return to Allen (do not click him). He'll ask for medicine.

  7. Stand on the drawer tile again; a dialog about medicines appears.

  8. Repeat steps 6-7 two more times, retrieving medicine before the flash appears. Repeat if necessary.

  9. Speak with Allen multiple times (one requires standing nearby). He requests CPR and another medicine dose. Repeat step 8.

  10. Repeat step 9 a random number of times.

  11. Eventually Allen complains of pain and Postell appears with the wrong medicine. Return to the medicine drawer.
