Complete Walkthrough​

  1. Trigger conversation with Busy Looking Boy in Prontera (248, 212). Agree to collect books and deliver them to Historian Karlomoff in Juno.

  2. Find Karlomoff (yuno 311, 195). Receive the File Folder and rhyme instruction.

  3. Visit Rodafrian (morocc_in 45, 126) in a Morroc building. Discuss rhyme verification.

  4. Travel to Mt. Mjolnir 1. Locate Mondo (mjolnir_01 135, 168). Recite the four-line verse exactly.

  5. Find the Absent-Minded Boy (mjolnir_01 313, 269). You'll be interrupted by Exhausted-Looking Woman (Bonnie Imbullea) (mjolnir_01 316, 268).

  6. Speak with Father Bamph (prt_church 185, 106) regarding the Jormungand Curse.

  7. Return to Bonnie Imbullea (mjolnir_01 316, 268) to learn about rhyme differences. Report back to Bamph.

8-9. Investigate the mausoleum bodies. Examine them left to right. Answer "Poison!" when prompted.

  1. Return to Father Bamph. Receive the Assassin Guild investigation request.

  2. Visit the Assassin Guildsman (moc_fild16 201, 295).

  3. Pay 1,000 Zeny at position (47, 108) to enter the secret inn (morocc 43, 108).

  4. Find Marjana (que_job01 10, 16). Learn the poison identification method. Note: You have a 4-minute time limit.

  5. Decide between two paths:

  • Verify the princes' information
  • Report results to Bamph
  • Comfort Bonnie Imbullea
  • Conclude with Rodafrian

  • Then verify the information
  • WARNING: Risk of quest failure if speaking to Bonnie prematurely

Important Notes​

  • If you lose the books before delivery, you can buy replacements from the Prontera library.
  • When reciting the rhyme to Mondo, avoid copying spaces - type it exactly.
  • You must exit the secret inn normally. Using teleport or butterfly wings causes problems.
  • CRITICAL (Path B): Speaking to Bonnie before receiving experience causes complete quest failure with no rewards.
