Complete Walkthrough​

  1. Talk to the Foreign Merchant at moc_ruins (77, 167) twice. He mentions "a place to grab a drink in town" and suggests finding a merchant at the oasis.

  2. Walk around the oasis perimeter until the Foreign Merchant appears at moc_ruins (101, 133) between the Cool Corp and Kafra NPCs.

  3. Talk to this merchant. He provides wine for the thirsty man.

  4. Return the wine to the first Foreign Merchant. He reveals he's "an agent of High Priest Zhed."

  5. Travel to Rachel Sanctuary (ra_temin 277, 159). Talk to High Priest Zhed about helping the Pope.

  6. Zhed directs you to speak with High Priest Niren.

  7. Talk to the Female Follower at ra_temin (103, 151). She indicates Niren is in the garden.

  8. Find Niren at ra_temple (165, 57). She initially refuses to help Zhed.

  9. Return to Zhed. He writes a note for Niren.

  10. Deliver the note to Niren. She becomes sympathetic and asks you to visit the Pope.

  11. Repeat conversations with Niren until she agrees to help Zhed.

  12. Visit the Pope's Office at ra_temin (132, 131). The Pope appears "lonely and tired."

  13. Report to Niren. She writes a note for forger Ishmael.

  14. Travel to Rachel Field 3. Find Ishmael at coordinates (139, 355). Provide the File from Niren.

  15. Ishmael requests a Sardonyx to complete the forgery. Return with the item to receive the completed File.

  16. Return the File to Niren. She has it delivered and asks you to fetch Zhed.

  17. Tell Zhed he and Niren can visit the Pope.

  18. Observe Niren and Zhed meeting the Pope at ra_temin (132, 131). The Pope sends you back to Rachel.

  19. The Pope announces restructured command under Zhed and Niren.

  20. Talk to Niren to receive part of your Base Experience reward.

  21. Talk to Zhed. He confirms Thor Volcano is closing and provides the remainder of your Base Experience reward.

Notes​

  • The choice between "Truth" or "Lies" when speaking with Zhed does not affect quest progression.
