Walkthrough

1. Talk to Rebarev Doug; agree to help, then select "I am about to leave" repeatedly until third option appears - choose it and don't speak to him again

2. Go to Library at Prontera (120, 266); speak to Librarian

   • Enter: "the 1st squad's final mission"

3. Return with Lantern or Magnifier in inventory

   • Select: "Let me help you find those files"
   • Select: "You have bad eyes?"
   • Select: "No, I don't mind!" to lend item
   • Select: "I want to read some documents"

4. Search files on wall; find "The 3rd Platoon Records"

5. Collect materials for copying:

   • 2 Slick Paper
   • 1 Oil Paper
   • 3 Squid Ink
   • 3 Feather of Bird
   • 20 Blue Gemstone

6. Wait for librarian to create copy; keep clicking until he hands over records

7. Talk to librarian again; select "Record Search"

   • Enter: "crusader 3rd_company 3rd_platoon 1st_squad record"

8. Go to Geffen Blacksmith Shop at geffen_in (109, 161); talk to Zan Huadoku

   • Select option 1: "1st Squad"
   • Select option 3: "last mission"
   • Keep talking until he mentions "unknown fragment" twice

9. Travel to Morroc at morocc_in (146, 179); talk to Inn Employee in PvP House

   • Enter: "Donon"
   • Continue selecting options until receiving clue: "Aragham never hoarded upgrade items"
   • Note: Player may be killed; log out to avoid death or return

10. Go to Fortress Saint Darmain (South) at cmd_fild09 (106, 195)

    • Enter the clue from Inn Keeper to access rogue guild

11. Find Suspicious Man at in_rogue (243, 61); must bring a doll

    • Select option 2: "how he's been doing"
    • Select option 1: "about the Inn Maid"
    • Select option 3: "1st Squad's final mission"
    • When Megingjard option appears, select "Listen to him quietly"

12. Go to Alberta (196, 146); talk to Jack O'

    • Select option 3: "1st Squad's final mission"
    • Select option 1: "Rebarev Doug"
    • Keep talking until message about chewing green herbs appears

13. Go to Aldebaran (66, 213); talk to Emma Searth; must have Green Herb

    • Ask about memories she can remember

14. Travel to Jawaii via SoloHan at Prontera Pub (205, 157)

    • Married players pay 100,000 Zeny at Izlude Dock NPC (173, 185)
    • Bar location: jawaii_in (192, 220)
    • Tip: Bring butterfly wing or drink until bartender kills you to leave

15. Talk to Nineball (Crusader Officer) at Jawaii bar - jawaii_in (44, 110)

    • Repeat until no further information

16. Go to Comodo casino (144, 113); bring 2 Alcohol to NPC 'Man' at cmd_in02 (190, 94)

    • Select: "Ask him about Rebarev Doug"
    • Select: "Discuss hobbies" twice, using both Alcohol
    • If NPC doesn't interact, talk to Zan Huadoku again to reset

17. Talk to NPC 'Man' again; select "talk about gambling"

18. Find Rebarev Doug; MUST select "Act Unsuspicious"

19. Go to Nifflheim (109, 254); find Egnigem

    • Select last option: "I've heard enough" (story listening optional)

20. Return to Prontera Castle; finish conversation with Rebarev Doug, then talk to Max Von Shedough at prt_castle (48, 164)

    • THIS MARKS OFFICIAL COMPLETION - Seal count increases by 1

21. Return to Egnigem

    • Reward: 1,200,000 Base EXP and 900,000 Job EXP

22. Return to Aldebaran; find Emma Searth

    • Reward: Old Blue Box + 1,200,000 Base EXP and 900,000 Job EXP

23. Talk to Max Von Shedough again in Prontera Castle

    • Reward: 1,200,000 Base EXP and 900,000 Job EXP
