Complete Walkthrough

1. Speak with Schwartzvalt Mechanic outside Alliance Headquarters; he directs you to the Arunafeltz Linguist.
2. Find the linguist on the 2nd floor (far right room) of Alliance Headquarters.
3. Visit the Faerie and Giant on the fields to memorize their spoken languages (from Finding a Fairy quest).
4. Report the memorized text to the linguist; he refers you to Rune Midgart's Magician.
5. Speak with Rune Midgart's Magician (mid_camp 147, 256) in the western allied camp.
6. Retrieve Red Jewel at spl_fild02 (26, 218) near the fairy by defeating spawned thief bugs.
7. Retrieve Blue Jewel at man_fild03 (227, 109) near the giant by defeating spawned thief bugs.
8. Return both jewels to the magician.
9. Return to the linguist with decoded language progress.
10. Report back to Schwartzvalt Mechanic.
11. Ask the mechanic about magical gems; he directs you to the magician.
12. Magician requests Unidentified Mineral from Manuk fields (from Mysterious Rocks).
13. Return mineral to magician and wait.
14. Collect the completed gem from the magician.
15. Return gem to Schwartzvalt Mechanic and wait one hour.
16. Return to mechanic to receive rewards.

Notes

• The Ring of the Wise Ancient King is required for the Two Tribes quest.
• There is a 1-hour wait time near the end of this quest.
