Fallacious Okolnir (God Items Quest 2)

The God Items Quest 2 — also known as Fallacious Okolnir — is the second-generation God Item creation questline tied to War of Emperium 2. Your party delves into the Okolnir Dungeon, a series of Valkyrie trials that culminates in the forging of the legendary armor Asprika (Aesprika) or Brynhild, along with a Valkyrie's Gift.

Overview
This quest involves making your way through the Okolnir Dungeon. The dungeon is a trial set out by the Valkyries where a team of up to 20 players must attempt to clear a series of difficult challenges.
- There is a time limit of one hour to complete the quest.
- Should your group fail and run out of time, there is a 12 hour delay before you can make another attempt.
- Within the dungeon there is no death penalty, but most monsters are not worth experience or do not have drops.
Because the dungeon requires a large, coordinated roster (16–20 characters) and the clear is tightly timed, God Items Quest 2 is designed as endgame guild content rather than a pick-up-group activity.
Quest Walkthrough
The instance is a linear 5-step gauntlet. Each step must be fully cleared before your party can advance.
Step 1 — The Garden Labyrinth
When you first enter, the players in your party will be scattered randomly throughout a large hedge maze. This maze has barricades in the form of colored flowers which prevent you from passing. Every minute or two these flowers shift color and position, effectively re-organizing the maze. These flowers are ultimately unkillable, as it would be impossible to deal the damage required to kill them before the maze shifts.
When you spawn, you will appear next to a first class apparition of yourself (similar to Biolaboratory Floor 2 monsters). This monster will have your base job and name. When all of these monsters die, a series of 99 transcendent ghosts will spawn randomly within the maze (same as the Biolaboratory Floor 3 level 99 monsters). When all these ghosts die, the plant barriers will vanish and you will be allowed to leave the maze.
Tips
- Because spawns are per-player, expect each member to deal with their own clone before linking up.
- Do not waste DPS on the flower barricades — they reset with the maze.
- Assign callouts so the party can regroup once the 99 transcendent ghosts spawn (they appear anywhere in the maze).
Step 2 — Passage through the Sky
You will have to follow a winding passage through the sky to reach your next objective. Aggressive Garden Watchers will attack you here. In order to open access to the following area, you must find and kill all the non-aggressive Garden Keepers along the way.
Tips
- Garden Watchers are aggressive and can overwhelm stragglers — advance as a group.
- Remember the objective is the non-aggressive Garden Keepers; locating and tagging every Keeper along the path is what opens the gate.
Step 3 — Battle Versus Piamette
You enter a large room, with Piamette sitting near the center. Piamette cannot be attacked at this time. Randomly, 6 of your teammates will be captured and placed petrified in cages around the outskirts of the room. The remaining players will be attacked by a large number of Violies, Alices, and Ancient Mimics.
When all the monsters are dead, 6 barricades will appear near the cages. By destroying the barricades, your teammates will be freed. Be warned, as there is a very high spawn rate of constants near the barricades.
At this point, Piamette will become angry with you and attack your party. You must defeat her in order to move on.
Tips
- Bring enough DPS to handle the initial Violy/Alice/Ancient Mimic wave quickly — the 6 captured players cannot contribute until freed.
- Split fire on the 6 barricades; each one freeing a player increases your effective party size for the Piamette fight.
- Expect constant add pressure while breaking barricades — assign healers to kite adds off the barricade breakers.
- Save cooldowns, Assumptio, and full-party buffs for the transition when Piamette finally becomes attackable.
Step 4 — Temple
After leaving Piamette's room you will be greeted by the NPC of the Valkyrie Wish Maiden. You must clear your way through a temple filled with Frus, Skogul, and Garden Watchers. There are extremely large numbers of monsters here — it is estimated that there are nearly 150–250 Frus and Skogul in a relatively small area. You must kill all the monsters here and make it to the top of the temple.
Tips
- AoE is king here. Bring Professors (Storm Gust), High Wizards, Whitesmiths, and Champs with spammable AoE.
- Pull carefully — dragging too many Frus/Skogul at once can wipe a frontline if healers aren't ready.
- This is typically the hardest DPS check of the instance; budget accordingly against your 1-hour timer.
Step 5 — Battle Versus Valkyrie Wish Maiden
Having made it to the top of the temple, the monster Valkyrie Wish Maiden will appear. You must defeat the Valkyrie Wish Maiden at this time to finish the quest.
Tips
- Clear the final temple area before engaging the Maiden to avoid add pressure during the boss fight.
- Keep the designated item-maker alive — Valkyrie's Gift is awarded to the item-maker upon completion.
Valkyrie's Gift
Following the successful completion of the quest, the Wish Maiden will reward the item-maker with Valkyrie's Gift.
The item can be used to summon various monsters in Juno or Rachel for one hour.

On successful completion, the item-maker receives one of the following weapons/armors (depending on which ingredient set was brought) plus 1 Valkyrie's Gift.

Tips & Strategy Summary
- Roster composition: Bring 16–20 players with a healthy mix of AoE DPS (Professors, High Wizards), single-target DPS (Snipers, Champs, Whitesmiths), dedicated healers (High Priests), and a Bard/Dancer pair for Bragi's Poem during the Maiden fight.
- Respect the clock: A full hour sounds generous, but Step 1's maze RNG and Step 4's massive trash pull can eat time fast. Aim to clear Steps 1–3 in roughly 30 minutes.
- No death penalty — but no rezzes wasted: Death inside Okolnir doesn't cost experience, but every death is time lost to walk-back and re-buff.
- Designate an item-maker: Only one player receives the God Item and Valkyrie's Gift. Decide in advance, and protect that character.
- Back-up ingredient sets: If your guild is farming repeatedly, bring multiple full ingredient sets so successive clears can reward different makers.
