Complete Walkthrough

  1. Prerequisite: Complete the Umbala Language Quest first if you haven't already.

  2. Gather the required items:

    • 1x Red Gemstone
    • 1x Blue Gemstone
    • 1x Mr. Smile
  3. Travel to Umbala.

  4. Locate the skull near the door at coordinates (216, 190).

  5. Insert the Blue Gemstone into the left eye of the skull.

  6. Insert the Red Gemstone into the right eye of the skull.

  7. You will be teleported into a hidden room.

  8. Speak with the Shaman inside.

  9. The Shaman will ask you to visit the leader first.

  10. Travel to the leader's house at (umbala 68, 253).

  11. Give the leader 1x Mr. Smile as a gift.

  12. Return to the Shaman (repeat steps 4-7 to re-enter the skull room).

  13. Speak with the Shaman again.

  14. You can now use the ore downgrading service!

Ore Conversion Details

The Shaman can break down pure elemental stones into regular elemental stones:

  • Conversion Rate: 6-10 elemental stones per pure stone (varies randomly)
  • Failure Possible: Conversions can fail, resulting in no reward

Important Notes

  • The gemstones must be reinserted into the skull's eyes each time you visit.
  • The gemstones are NOT consumed - you keep them after teleporting.
  • The Mr. Smile gift is a one-time requirement.
  • After completing the initial quest, you have permanent access to the service.
  • Conversion results vary - expect 6 to 10 stones per pure stone on success.
