High Novice

Overview / Role​

The High Novice is the Transcendent (rebirth) version of the Novice. After completing the Rebirth quest in Valhalla, your character returns to Level 1 as a High Novice, retaining no skills but gaining access to enhanced versions of First and Second Class progression.

Requirements​

  • Base Level: 1 (after rebirth)
  • Job Level: 1
  • Prerequisite: Reach Base Lv 99 / Job Lv 50 as a Second Class and complete the Rebirth quest in Valhalla.

Advancement Path​

At Job Level 10, the High Novice advances into the High First Class corresponding to their previous path (e.g., High Swordman, High Mage). Eventually leads to a Transcendent Second Class.

Key Skills​

  • Same skill tree as Novice (Basic Skill, First Aid, Trick Dead).
  • Begins accumulating bonus skill points reserved for Transcendent-exclusive abilities later in advancement.

Power-level back to Job 10 as quickly as possible. Many players use party support or higher-level companions to skip the early grind. The real value of being a High Novice is unlocking High First Class and ultimately the Transcendent Second Class with its +25% HP/SP bonuses and exclusive skills.
